The grids start out easy, 5x5, but by the end of the game, the grids are 20x20. In fact, there were a few tales that I had never heard of before playing this game. I call these fairy tales "fractured" first because you must play a grid to get to the next part and second because I did not always recognize the story of the fairy tale as told in this game. I remember one story (Sleeping Beauty) which took over 13 grids to tell the tale. The number of grids that must be played to get to the end of the fairy tale are different for each tale.
Playing a grid brings up another part of the story. This game tells the story of 12 different fairy tales.

Played the game using my Windows 10 PC without any issue.įRACTURED (?) FAIRY TALES You play this game as a person who is in search of various medallions/items that, hopefully, will finally get you out of this weird situation where you are thrown into the middle of various fairy tales. I didn’t use as many hints as in the previous release, which means that either the puzzles are designed better, or my skills are improving! I found the 15x15 grids to be the most challenging overall, despite having about half the cells compared to the 20x20 grids (225 cells versus 400 cells). Menu Option 2: “Extra Puzzles”, which has sets based on themes instead of fairy tales, distributed as follows:įewer extra puzzles than WORLD MOSAICS 2, with 100 extra grids this time around (20 10x10, 60 15x15, 20 20x20) for a grand total of 256 puzzles in this release. In summary, 156 grids (3 5x5, 45 10x10, 71 15x15, 37 20x20) I was able to resolve all of them using purely logic (no guess, no mistake) EXCEPT for 14 of them where I needed a hint to avoid guessing. Fairy Tale 12: Snow White (15 grids 20x20)
Fairy Tale 11: Punchkin (15 grids 20x20)
Fairy Tale 10: Sleeping Beauty (7 grids 15x15) + 7 grids 20x20) Fairy Tale 09: Monkey King (15 grids 15x15) Fairy Tale 08: Little Red Riding Hood (14 grids 15x15) Fairy Tale 07: Cinderella (14 grids 15x15) Fairy Tale 05: Rapunzel (14 grids 15x15) Fairy Tale 04: Babe The Blue Ox (9 grids 10x10) Fairy Tale 03: Hansel and Gretel (15 grids 10x10) Fairy Tale 02: Magic Ball (10 grids 10x10) Fairy Tale 01: Frog Prince (3 grids 5x5 + 11 grids 10x10) It has a narrative for each grid once resolved there are 12 sets, each based on a fairy tale in which your character plays a role: Menu Option 1: “Story mode”, which will open the “Extra Puzzles” section once sufficient progress is made.
Numbers in borders will be crossed off one by one when you’ve resolved from an edge of the grid There ARE crosshairs that highlight row/column as you move your pointer You cannot save your progress while in that grid but your progress is saved once solved you can replay any previously solved grid to improve your performance You are allowed a certain number of mistakes and hints before failing a grid

You don’t “earn” anything other than opening additional grids once solved no stars, no points, no coins, nothing to buy or upgrade There is a clock showing time spent, but there is NO LIMIT or penalty You solve in monochrome, but the image will become colorful and with a label once resolved, and quite recognizable especially once converted into a thumbnail WORLD MOSAICS 3 has the same features as the original, without any changes, except of course for the story you'll play nonograms divided into 2 menu sections, both of which sharing the following characteristics:
